Yes! We are a bespoke boutique, and specialise in hosting private appointments for our brides. The entire space is booked for you and your close friends and family only.
Therefore, these appointments are recommended for brides who are serious and ready to purchase their gown. Please use our online scheduler to book an appointment. If you need a later appointment than what you see available in our system please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate you.

We know this day is a very important and special one for you, so of course you are welcome to bring your chosen family or friends to share this experience with.
The Velani studio is quite an intimate space, therefore our seating is limited.
In order to have a moment you’ve been waiting for that is all about you, and is a calm and lovely experience, we recommend bringing just one or two trusted people with you, and that means we can chat with you properly about all the details of your dream dress.
Please note, we love to give our brides our complete attention, which is exactly what you’ll experience when it’s your turn. For this reason, visits to Velani are appointment only.
We’ve been dressing brides and those who love a beautiful dress for decades, so we can definitely impart some wisdom around a consultation to get the best possible experience.
Just as we’d advise for any special event experience – though this one is a once in a lifetime – it is best that you arrive feeling fresh and ready to start creating the gown of your dreams.
Everyone appreciates a crisp, clean gown, so we ask clients to not apply fake tan or have just had a spray tan, or body oils, make up or bronzer prior to a consultation.
The only other thing to bring? Your favourite people and a sense of fun, though please keep in mind to not bring food, drinks, or coffee.

Our evening gowns start from $5,000, Shorter gowns/formal gowns start at $3,000 and bridesmaid’s dresses start from $3,000, including the fabric.
Christening gowns start from $2,500.
Our renowned wedding gowns: simple gowns start from $8,000.
And our more detailed gowns with intricate lace and beadwork start from $15,000.
A dressing service is also available, upon request, on the day of the wedding. This is available for an additional $500.
Velani is not an off the rack dress brand. All couture Velani dresses are custom made in Australia, and we product use the finest imported fabrics. From the moment we decide to have your dream dress come to life the ensuing process will include a consultation, and all your fittings.
The process of bringing your vision of a dress to life begins around nine months before the big day.
We can I create gowns at a faster rate if required of course – just let us know at the time of your first enquiry with us about your timeline.
My personal advice to you is to choose someone with whom you have a lovely natural connection with upon first meeting.
Working on a gown design and understanding each other, then seeing your gown come to life is such a personal, sometimes emotional, and quite lengthy one-on-one process. So, you’ll want to click with someone who will be getting to know you and with whom you’ll be spending a lot of time with… much like you did with your fiancé!
If you’ve been following a brand and feel that you truly connect with the aesthetic, and can visualise yourself in one of their gowns this will be a good indicator for you to know if you’ll be a perfect fit for each other.
